Kia ora koutou
Just a short week this week but we’ve packed a lot into it. Breakfast club has started this week and has been a great success. I’m grateful to our Year 6 leaders who have had a hand in making this happen and taking responsibility for cleaning up afterwards before preparing for the following day. Awesome! We’re lucky to have this provided for us and I’m pleased that it’s been well supported by our students.
Please note the date in your diary. Tuesday 16 November. John Parsons will be spending the day in school working with our students and then staff after school. That evening he will run a session for parents. His focus is on internet safety and he is considered one of our nation’s experts on the subject. We would like as many parents and extended whānau as possible to attend, all are welcome and there will be no charge.
As we approach the end of term I’ve noticed there is a lot of lost property beginning to appear. Please make sure that clothing items are named, this makes it easy to return to its rightful owner. Just a reminder that Monday next week is a teacher only day so no school for our students until Tuesday.
Have a wonderful weekend.
